The Truth Is Out

No one believed Cassandra but still she told the truth and now we know that she was right.

For the last three months I have been telling the world that Something Is Happening.

All over the North of England – and spreading out across the South, into Scotland, and Ireland too, people have been disappearing. Not walking out of their homes; not being abducted. Disappearing. Actually vanishing. There one moment, gone the next.

Impossible. Nonsense. It can’t happen.

People don’t just disappear.

But they do.

A week ago, I received in my inbox a link to this short video, filmed on an iPhone belonging to one loyal reader. Let’s call him Tony. But that isn’t his name. (Truth-tellers will always be safe on this site.) Tony was on an East Coast Mainline train and while waiting for the toilet to become free, he spotted a young woman on the phone. She was clearly having a row with her partner. Tony isn’t proud of what he did next, but he’d had a couple of beers. Who hasn’t?

He took out his phone and started to video her. As he started filming, her conversation with her boyfriend got more upset. Also, it seems, that Tony (not his real name) was upsetting her too. By filming her.

What happens next has to be seen to be believed.

Watch the truth. Watch it now. Tell your friends.

There is hope. They Aren’t Gone. #tag2012

Missing super model

Trudi Weller, 19, from Keighley in West Yorkshire, has been missing since Friday. Her mother reports that she went to a photographic shoot in Leeds on Wednesday with a well-known glamour photographer, whose name we have been legally advised not to publish. Trudi is a popular girl, whose modelling included a shoot for John Lewis and a popular series for the Leeds United website, modelling their new kit. She  has always insisted that she would never do glamour modelling, but her mother reports that, after breaking up with her boyfriend, 36-year-old investment banker Clive Burchfield, Trudi, a lively 5’5″blonde, has struggled to make ends meet.

The police have interviewed the photographer, who insists that she never arrived at his Studio. He is pursuing Trudi’s mother, Amy, for damages in relation to breach of contract. Trudi was seen getting on the train at 13.01 by her former classmate Rachel Black. Trudi should have arrived at Leeds by 13.28, ready for her appointment at 2.00pm.

‘Trudi was preoccupied. She had money worries and she never handled money well,’ said Amy. ‘All the same, she’s not the type of girl to do anything daft,’ she added, her eyes filling with tears.

If you see Trudi or if you have any information about where she might have gone, please contact this website.
